Adriana Aristizabal

Adriana Arístizabal Founder & CEO at iVoice Communications

Bio

Adriana Aristizabal is a dynamic leader whose career journey has taken her from the frontlines of conflict zones as a TV war correspondent in Colombia to the forefront of global public relations in New York City. With a deep passion for storytelling and a commitment to impactful communication, Adriana founded iVoice Communications, an innovative PR agency that leverages AI-powered strategies to amplify voices and narratives worldwide.

Adriana’s foray into journalism was driven by a desire to highlight crucial social and political issues. Her experiences as a war correspondent exposed her to the transformative power of media in shaping public opinion and driving change. Recognizing a gap in traditional news outlets’ ability to tell the stories of the people she encountered, Adriana transitioned to public relations. This move allowed her to help organizations and individuals craft their own narratives and reach their audiences more effectively.

In 2014, Adriana established iVoice Communications, which has since become a leader in the PR industry. Her agency is distinguished by its use of advanced AI-powered strategies and data-driven approaches to develop customized PR campaigns. Under her leadership, iVoice Communications has successfully implemented initiatives for clients in various sectors, including tourism, NGOs, governments, food and beverage, culture, and entertainment. Prominent clients include NYC Tourism + Conventions, the Broadway League, Llorente & Cuenca, Sezzle, Grgich Hills Estate, Whitney Museum of American Art, Moulin Rouge! The Musical, Buena Vista Social Club, and Roots of Peace, among others.

Adriana’s entrepreneurial success is matched by her dedication to public service. As a former Consul of Colombia in New York City, she developed and executed campaigns to elevate Colombia’s image and support the local Hispanic community. Her efforts included coordinating over 600 cultural events and activities, fostering partnerships between international companies and the Colombian government, and representing the Consulate in high-level meetings.

Currently, Adriana serves as a C-Suite Board Member at Roots of Peace, a global non-profit organization dedicated to promoting peace through agriculture in war-torn countries. Her role involves leveraging her extensive experience in communication and diplomacy to support the organization’s mission in regions such as Croatia, Afghanistan, Azerbaijan, Laos, Vietnam, Guatemala, The Holy Land, and Angola.

Adriana’s academic background includes degrees in Journalism, Business Administration, and Administrative Science, as well as certifications in Global Information Systems and AI Leadership. She is bilingual in English and Spanish and possesses a wide range of skills, including storytelling, public speaking, crisis management, cross-cultural communication, and leadership.

Her achievements have been recognized by prestigious organizations and publications. Adriana is a Forbes 30/50 Alumni, has been listed as a Top 100 Latina Powerhouse by HOLA Magazine, and was named one of the Top 10 Most Powerful Latinas in Business by CIO Look Magazine. She is also an accomplished author, having published two books: “Caught in the Storm of War,” “La Guaca de las Farc: Yo la encontre,” and “En fuego cruzado: Memorias de una reportera de guerra.”

For two consecutive years, Adriana has been invited by the United Nations and the Government of Azerbaijan as a speaker at the International Conference on Mine Action held in Baku, Aghdam, and Zangilan. Adriana’s journey from war correspondent to PR industry leader is a testament to her resilience, innovation, and commitment to making a positive impact. Leading an AI-powered public relations agency, she continues to inspire others through her work, advocacy, and dedication to storytelling and communication.

Gracias
