New York, NY (2026) — Backstage Talk Podcast, the bilingual platform dedicated to amplifying voices in the performing arts, announces the launch of Season 6, arriving Summer 2026.
After a period centered on live events, the new season marks a return to the microphone— inviting listeners back into intimate, behind-the-scenes conversations with artists shaping Broadway and beyond. Season 6 introduces a three-part storytelling approach:
- Returning guest episodes, revisiting past voices to explore how their careers and lives have evolved since their earlier appareance.
- New guest conversations, introducing fresh perspectives and voices currently shaping the industry.
- “Unreleased Archives” episodes, a curated selection of never-before-heard conversations, offering fresh insight and long-awaited stories.
Created and hosted by Colombian performing arts marketer Martín Acuña, the podcast continues to nurture a global community of artists while bridging the Broadway musical theatre industry with Latin America.
“Backstage Talk has lived primarily through live events since my move to New York, but the time feels right to bring the show back in a way that audiences have been asking for—one that brings back that exclusive access into the artists’ lives,” says Acuña.
Since its inception, Backstage Talk Podcast has featured guests including Ana Villafañe, Tonya Pinkins, Mandy Gonzalez, Shereen Pimentel, Telly Leung, Sergio Trujillo, and more. As part of the Broadway Podcast Network, Backstage Talk Podcast is the network’s only bilingual podcast and its second international show.
